The City of Alexandria will host the “Navy Band Cruisers,” the U.S. Navy’s premiere contemporary entertainment ensemble, 7:30p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 as part of the City’s summer Twilight Concert’ series held at John Carlyle Square Park.
The Cruisers feature eight of the Navy’s most dynamic performers and takes its name from the Navy’s versatile and flexible ship – the Cruiser. The band plays many genres of music ranging from jazz & standards, rhythm & blues, classic rock, adult contemporary and pop as well as original material. The group plays across the United States as well as abroad entertaining audiences with their world-class musicianship and high energy, fun-filled performances. For additional information on the U. S.
