Rally to Save Engine 204 This Wednesday (3/26)

Save Engine 204

There is a FY 2015 Budget Work Session THIS Wednesday, March 26, 2014 @6:30 p.m. The work session will be held at the City of Alexandria’s Transportation & Environmental Serives Offices which are located at 2900 Business Center Drive in Alexandria. The topic is ‘Safe, Secure, and Just Community Focus Area Team’.

The Save Engine 204 campaign (see video report on this campaign at this link) would like to get as many Citizens, Firefighters and supporters as possible to show up with signs supporting “Save Engine 204” “Support the Fire Marshals” “Support the Firefighters” “Support the Medics” etc…

A strong presence is NEEDED at this meeting to show Council members, the Mayor and City Manager that the citizens of Alexandria are serious about not wanting to sacrifice public safety for a few dollars saved…The more people that show up the better! Tell all your friends, neighbors, civic associations everyone!

NOTE: The public is not allowed to speak at this meeting.
