Here are this week’s notes on the market:

The Lopez family bring us fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies from their farm in Virginia’s Northern Neck. Ana of Sweet Twist of Ecuador uses the Lopez family’s produce when crafting her delicious dairy free ice creams, flavors this week are Kale with spinach, passion fruit and pineapple and spiced tamarind with berries, melon, mango and mint.  Her daughter Keyla, shares  her creativity with raspberry juice, banana, papaya and pineapple flavored, popsicles.  A perfect summer delight.  All are dairy free!  Ana is not alone in using fresh produce from the Lopez Farm, Head Chef Henry of A La Lucia Restaurant often stops by the market to pick up fresh produce. Sara of Dream of Goodies shares vanilla cake with fresh lemon curd and blueberries, chocolate avocado frosted almond cookies and brownies, and cardamom pistachio spice cakes.  All of Sara’s Goodies are low glycemic, gluten free and non-GMO.  Chef Michael continues to spoil us with treats for two and four legged critters. This week he promises Chocolate Chip, Chai Spiced, Cranberry and White Chocolate Oatmeal, and Cherry, Chocolate and Walnut.

Jamie of Unique Jewelry and Things brings us handcrafted jewelry from India.

Big D’s, LuLaRoe and Live Events send regrets and promise to return to the Market soon.
