Spreading Kindness, Not Hate in Alexandria’s Del Ray

Via VOA, in Alexandria, Virginia, the Del Ray neighborhood is fighting back after hate posters were put on trees and windshields around the area.

After tearing down about 50 signs, some residents responded by placing anti-hate placards in front of their homes and businesses.

VOA’s Deborah Block takes us to Del Ray’s main street, where store owners say hate messages of any kind are not welcome is the close-knit community.

Here’s an example of one of the sign’s spreading around Del Ray I spotted during last night’s National Night Out.
