After four decades of disputes amidst the threat of eminent domain, the new Old Dominion Boat Club (ODBC) clubhouse in Alexandria, Virginia will be throwing open its new doors on the Alexandria, Virginia waterfront on Monday, January 8, 2018. This is a two-month delay from what we were told in August.

The new ODBC clubhouse is located at 0 Prince Street, the former location of the Beachcomber restaurant, and about a block from its former home.

After reaching a deal with the City of Alexandria to move the clubhouse, the new clubhouse will allow the city to create Fitzgerald Square Park. Over eighty (80) percent of the ODBC members voted for a deal from the City.

ODBC’s new facilities include a modern, flood-protected clubhouse and parking for members, and eventually, new piers.
